Portuguese forward, Mohamed Salah could feature against scoring three goals in a week including the match-winning performance he had against Leicester City on Sunday.

Salah has trained after recovering from Coronavirus but expects changes in Jurgen Klopp’s side as he looks to make do with what is available in his squad.

The Reds injury issues continue to get worse and Coach Jurgen Klopp could have a big headache in the midfield ahead of the clash with Atalanta BC. Naby Keita was the recent player to face injury after getting a hamstring injury problem in the 3-0 win on Sunday.

Though, Klopp would be hoping that either Thiago Alcantara or Jordan Henderson would be back to feature against the Italian side. Both stars missed the Leicester fixture at the weekend but could be in contention for a starting place.

Liverpool’s defensive issue is on the long term, with Trent Alexander-Arnold out for few weeks after picking a calf injury against Manchester City. While Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk may not play for Liverpool again this season.

James Milner could continue as a makeshift option at right-back while the returning Fabinho and Joel Matip will play in the heart of Liverpool’s defence.

Andrew Robertson will pitch his tenth at left-back. In attack, Xherdan Shaqiri’s muscle injury while on international duty with the Swiss National side may likely prevent him from this fixture.

But Mo Salah has returned to training following his positive Coronavirus test. Sadio Mane has been an ever-present figure for Liverpool.

But Jurgen Klopp may opt to give the forward a break with the fact that Liverpool is already in a strong position in the Champions League stages. Takumi Minamino could start for the Reds in his stead.

DAILY POST here predicts possible line up for the Liverpool game against Atalanta BC

Alisson Becker; James Milner, Fabinho, Joel Matip, Andrew Robertson; Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson, Diogo Jota; Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Takumi Minamino.
